Pakistani-American Wedding at the Waterworks Museum! | Boston Wedding Photographer

A couple weeks ago, I had the pleasure of capturing M & S’s intimate wedding at the Temple of Love in Larz Anderson Park.  We started the day off getting ready at S’s sister’s house in Jamaica Plain.  Freshly henna-ed from the evening before, 🙂 S looked absolutely beautiful in her traditional Pakistani wedding dress, flown in from Karachi, just days before the wedding.

A simple bouquet of yellow tulips offered a nice contrast to the ornate dress and jewelry:

After the first look:  relief!  This was such a tender moment…

At the Temple of Love:  Time to get married!

The Happy Newlyweds 🙂

Following the ceremony, we made our way to the wonderful Waterworks Museum in Chestnut Hill.

The inside of the museum offered an incredible, dramatic backdrop for their elegant reception:

We went across the street to the Reservoir for a couple more photos before starting dinner.

Couldn’t have asked for a prettier May day 🙂

Stay tuned for a few more highlight pics from M & S’s larger wedding reception at the Endicott Estate next weekend!  This lucky couple gets to celebrate twice – and so do I 🙂 !!

Alexa, Olivia & Narcisa: Mother-Daughter Portrait Session :) | Boston Children’s Photographer

It’s hard to believe it’s been over 5 years since I first met Narcisa!  I’ve watched her adorable daughters grow into beautiful little girls… Yesterday, the they came to East Boston for some pretty post-Mother’s Day portraits.  We started off in the park and had fun with the cherry blossom petals!  I love the second shot of Alexa trying to catch the petals on her tongue, like snowflakes 🙂

Here’s a close-up of Alexa, almost 5 years old!

And here’s her little sister Olivia :p

Back inside for a wardrobe change before heading to the beach.  Here they are: ballerinas-in-training 🙂

Over at Constitution beach we took these fun shots:

My favorite shots of the day were of the two sisters walking along the beach together:

Look at those faces!!!  Too cute!

Yes, that’s wet sand in Olivia’s hand…fortunately for me and my camera, she was throwing it back into the water 🙂

I had such a fun time with Olivia & Alexa and their amazing and beautiful Mom, Narcisa.  Thank you girls for making my day <3

Sabrina & Steven’s Elm Bank Engagement Shoot! |Boston Wedding Photographer

After the threat of a rainy weather forecast caused us to move up the engagement session to a Friday evening (with inevitable rush-hour traffic), we finally made it to Elm Bank!  The rain held off and we had the beautiful grounds almost entirely to ourselves!  Meet stunning Sabrina and her fiancé Steven:

I kept telling these two to quit playing around, but they just wouldn’t listen 😀

Sharing a quiet moment…

I love these shots in front of the Hunnewell Building:

More playing…in Wheezie’s Garden…

I’m looking forward to Steven & Sabrina’s wedding in just over a month!  Check back soon for more pics of this awesome couple 🙂
