How wonderful to see this lovely family again, in their new home and with their newest addition, Evelyn, in tow….their family just keeps getting cuter every year 🙂
Last month I had the pleasure of capturing Cheryl and Andy’s wedding reception at the Andover Country Club. The bride and groom were married a couple months earlier in an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas, but wanted to celebrate with their extended family and friends back home. I’ve known Cheryl for a few years now – she’s actually my massage therapist! So when I heard she was engaged, I was very excited to be a part of her wedding 🙂
I already knew Cheryl was a pretty girl (not to mention a very caring person and wonderful massage therapist) but I was still blown away when I saw her in her wedding dress! She looked stunning and so happy:
I love the photo on the left of Cheryl, looking over at her husband Andy 🙂
We lucked out with a gorgeous, sunny summer day! The garden at the Andover Country Club provided such a pretty backdrop for these bride and groom formals:
I loved this little shaded spot by the fountain:
We did a few family formals as well before heading over to the ballroom for cocktail hour and the reception:
The tree theme showed up on their invitations, and centerpieces. The bonsai trees and tree saplings were such a great idea!
Cheryl’s Dad made a toast to the newlyweds:
The wedding cake, also decorated with trees on it, had the best cake topper I’ve seen so far! Apparently, Andy is an avid fisherman…looks like he got himself a great catch 🙂 The bride and groom offered their guests a sundae bar to go along with their cake – YUM!
Cheryl and Andy watched with their guests as a video of the couple’s Las Vegas wedding ceremony played. Everyone cheered when the couple said their “I do’s” onscreen….
Finally, it was time to do some boogying!
Cheryl and Andy: Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your day! You’re a beautiful couple and I wish you many years of happiness….

Meet Carey & Arthur…and their adorable family ♥
Their children, Marley (6) and Sophia (9 months) were also part of the engagement session! We met up at Winthrop Beach and couldn’t have had a more gorgeous September day for our shoot.
Big Sister Marley and little sister Sophia played in the sand while we took a few shots of Mom and Dad:
Then it was time for a little surprise Mom had prepared for the girls…the answer was hidden inside a message in a bottle!
Seeing Marley’s excitement when she found out she was going to be a big sister again was definitely a highlight of the day! She told us she hopes it’s a little brother 🙂 I love the shot below of Marley & Mom…
Could this family be any cuter? …… I guess we’ll find out when the baby arrives next March!
Such a beautiful day to be at the beach…and seeing how loving and sweet this family is, was truly inspiring. I’m so looking forward to their wedding in just over a month!

Last week I met up with Alicia & Barry in Concord, MA for their engagement session. We started at the Colonial Inn and made a couple stops along our way to the Minute Man National Historic Park.
I couldn’t resist grabbing this next shot “Faithful unto death” in Monument Square – very a propos for an engagement shoot 😉 I just love Alicia’s face in the first shot!
Then we tried on some hats. I actually think Alicia’s hat looked super cute!
Despite being an extremely humid September day, we spotted these pretty signs of fall at the end of our stroll through town…
Our next stop was the Minute Man National Historic Park and the Old North Bridge. Alicia and Barry came here on one of their first dates 🙂
At the Old North Bridge:
Time for a wardrobe change!
We crossed the bridge and walked over to a beautiful tree in the middle of the field:
Believe it or not, the photo below was NOT my idea (although I’d love to take full credit for it 🙂 That takes some real talent to get synchronized heel clicking on the first try! So cute!
A couple last shots on the patio to wrap up…
Very excited for Alicia & Barry’s winter wedding this January :)))Â Check back early next year to see more of these guys!!

You might remember Terry & Patrick from their engagement session back in May. I instantly fell in love with this couple. Not only are they smart, interesting, fun and absolutely adorable together, they’re also one of those couples that wants everyone else to be as in love as they are. After our engagement shoot, we stopped at an enoteca where the two played matchmaker for yours truly 🙂 So, I was especially excited when their wedding day finally arrived!
I arrived early to capture Terry and her bridesmaids getting ready at Deerfield Academy where their wedding took place.  The room was filled with the scent of gorgeous flowers, provided by Rebecca Fitzgerald of Forget Me Not Florist:
I loved Terry’s romantic, lace dress….and cathedral length veil, which was her Mom’s 🙂
Over at the church, I found Patrick and the guys, anxiously waiting for the ceremony to begin…
Patrick wore a super cute pink tie with little purple hearts…perfect for the occasion 🙂
The ceremony, officiated by Father Ronan, was lively and personal, despite being a traditional Catholic ceremony.
Married!
After the ceremony, everyone headed back to Deerfield Academy where we shot some formals of the wedding party and families:
Then I took Patrick & Terry to do some couple’s portraits….Here are a few of the beautiful bride on her own and also with her new husband 🙂 :
The shot below in front of the red barn is one of my favorites 🙂
Then we found some great historic homes on campus to visit…
The Deerfield Academy grounds are just beautiful:
Then we headed over to the school’s soccer field where we found a wonderful little bridge and a lovely meadow…
It was a picture-perfect day!
After formals, Terry & Patrick joined their guests on the patio for cocktail hour:
Then it was time for the party to begin!
Introducing newlyweds Terry & Patrick!
The couple’s First Dance
Parent dances and toasts…
And cutting the cake:
DJ David O’Leary played an awesome mix of Colombian, Persian & Top 40 Dance hits for the rest of the night…
What a wonderful day for two wonderful people 🙂 Terry & Patrick: thank you so much for including me in your day!
