I love this family. Never mind that Erika and I have been friends since we were 12. She is amazing, her husband is amazing and together they’re raising two amazing little girls. I don’t get the chance to see them often – not nearly as often as I’d like – but when I do, I always feel so comfortable and at home. Somehow I didn’t manage to bring out my camera until the night before I was heading back to Boston, but the few shots I did get show how fun and lovable they all are 🙂

Despite warnings of bad weather earlier in the week, I met Sarah and Nhaim for their engagement session last Sunday at the Arnold Arboretum and we had plenty of sunshine and purple flowers everywhere – I guess the lilacs bloomed early this year! Both Sarah and Nhaim were a little giggly and nervous at the beginning of the shoot, but they quickly relaxed and got used to the paparazzi (me) following them around 🙂 In the end, we got some great shots! They really are such a sweet couple and I’m very excited for their wedding in less than two months…

I had the pleasure of visiting with a very close friend in the DC/Baltimore area a couple of weeks ago. My friend, Jen, has an adorable 11-month old, Kaitlin, and is expecting baby #2 in just a couple more months 🙂 Kaitlin might be the most physically active 11-month old I’ve seen in a long time, if not ever! And also the giggliest 🙂 She has one of those infectious little baby laughs that gets everyone else in the room laughing too. Add those two little bottom teeth that show when she’s smiling and it’s official – she could melt anyone’s heart ♥ Here are a few of my favorite snaps of Jen & Kaitlin:
