Lauren & Dan’s Intimate Riverfront Wedding at Dante! | Boston & Cambridge Wedding Photographer

I was so excited to capture Lauren & Dan’s wedding!  (Note: you may remember this couple from their adorable engagement shoot last May 🙂  Those photos are here)

Lauren is the sister of one of my former grooms, Jordan.  She and her family are so wonderful, I knew it was going to be a very special wedding.  Check out some highlights from the big day below!

As you can see, we were blessed with a gorgeous fall day 🙂  I just loved Lauren’s bouquet of roses and anemones (one of my faves!) and that dress….

Maid of Honor, Jody, sees the bride for the first time!

The beautiful bride!!

The guys enjoyed pizza while the girls were getting ready in the suite down the hall 🙂

Finally time to say “I do!”

Married!!!

After the ceremony, we started with some formals along the Charles River with the Boston skyline as a backdrop…

Then we headed over to Canal Park for these pretty shots 🙂

Then back to Dante for the reception!

The bride and groom had their first dance outside on the patio under the moonlight…

The beautiful city views, and lovely ambiance of Dante paired with personal touches like the framed family photos and hand-made cards below all came together perfectly…

And the dance party wouldn’t quit!  Everybody loved the blinky ring favors…I couldn’t resist wearing mine home 🙂

Such a sweet couple  – I’m so happy for them and grateful to have been a part of their wedding!!  Congrats again Lauren & Dan!

Introducing baby Juliet & big sister, Kaitlin! | New England Baby Photographer

I made a trip down to Baltimore the week before Thanksgiving to visit with Jen, an old college friend, and to meet her 2-month old baby, Juliet.  She’s such a happy, smiley girl  – I fell instantly in love 🙂  I also got to see Kaitlin, Jen’s 18-month old, who had just started walking the last time I saw her at 11-months.  Now she’s very talkative, has a contagious laugh and is already much more grown up (just check out her sophisticated coat and cap ensemble ;))  Here are a few shots from the visit…Introducing the lovely Juliet:

I just love her smile 🙂

Juliet was also blessed with those gorgeously long lashes, like her big sister!

With Mom….

They grow up so fast!  Here’s big sister, Kaitlin whom you might remember from previous posts, now at 18 months!

At the playground….

Playing on the slides with Mom…

Listening to her favorite song on Mom’s iPhone 🙂

Thanks to Jen and her family for being such great hosts!  XOXO

Megha & Christoph Tie the Knot at Upstairs on the Square | Cambridge Wedding Photographer

Megha and Christoph were married in Harvard Square on October 20, 2012, the first day of the Head of the Charles Regatta, making an already exciting and eventful day that much more exciting!  What started off as a rainy, cloudy day turned into a sparkling, sunny day for this small, intimate Cambridge wedding.  Here are some highlights from M & C’s big day:

I love the beautiful fall colors in Megha’s bouquet against the backdrop of fallen leaves….and the necklace she wore, a treasured family heirloom, exquisitely complemented her elegantly simple dress.

With the early morning weather forecast threatening to rain out their outdoor garden ceremony, M & C decided to move their ceremony to the lovely dining room at Upstairs on the Square.

After the ceremony, we strolled around Harvard Square for some formal photos of the bride and groom.  The brick sidewalks, littered with brightly colored leaves, looked as though they were covered in confetti and were appropriately festive for the occasion!

We even managed to get some photos along the river (thanks to some very accommodating Regatta spectators :))

We returned after to Upstairs on the Square for a delicious lunch reception with Megha & Christoph’s closest friends and family.

My best wishes to Christoph & Megha!!

Trish & Cronan’s Irish Wedding at Granite Links Golf Club! | Jarige Photography: Quincy Wedding Photographer

From the first moment I spoke with Trish, I instantly liked her.  She had one of those charming Irish accents I had grown so fond of during my years working in Dublin.  That and  she was just a complete sweetheart.  Before we were supposed to meet for our consultation, my grandmother  passed away and Trish thoughtfully brought Cadbury chocolates from Ireland to our meeting and seemed more concerned about how I was doing than about planning her wedding.

So, needless to say, when it came time for her wedding day, I was excited to capture what promised to be a wonderful day, for a wonderful couple.  And it was!  Here are some highlights, beginning with the bride getting ready with her family and bridesmaids at the couple’s home in Dorchester:

Trish had a spectacular, flowy dress with feathers and ruffles:

The bridesmaid dresses were elegant black:

Pretty bride Trish:

Trish did her own hair (she’s a talented stylist).  I LOVED the soft waves:

Bridal Portrait before heading to the Church!

Jenn (of Jenn Liang Photography)  captured these shots of the groom before the ceremony!

The ceremony took place at St. Brendan’s Church in Dorchester:

And the newlyweds happily marched out of the church under an arch of hockey sticks, instead of swords 🙂

We got a nice group shot of all the guests on the church steps:

Love these two shots from Jenn of the couple getting into their awesome ’66 Ford Mustang!!

And then they set off for Quincy to the Granite Links Golf Club…

We started with some formals of the wedding party:

And then walked around the grounds for some gorgeous shots of the bride and groom:

We had great dusky light and some nice cloud cover….

Probably my favorite shot of the day 🙂

We took a golf cart down to the “ruins,” by the quarry, very reminscent of some castle ruins you might find in Ireland…just perfect for Irish-born Trish & Cronan 🙂

Then we returned to the ballroom for a couple patio shots at sunset:

While guests enjoyed the end of cocktail hour:

The bride and groom were introduced, and danced their first dance:

Maid of Honor and Best man made toasts, along with family members….

…And the groom, himself!

Cake-cutting:

Parent dances:

And dancing for everyone!

Live Irish music from the band 🙂

And the guys went out to the patio to smoke some celebratory cigars!

It was a great night and such a lovely wedding to be a part of…Trish & Cronan:  “Go maire tu do shaol ur!”  Hopefully, that means “Congratulations on your wedding,” In Irish  🙂
