Little Baby Kaitlin…

I hope everyone had a very happy 4th!  After a few days in Lake Placid last weekend (photos to come), I had one day in Boston before heading down to Baltimore this past week…It was so wonderful reconnecting with my dear friend and meeting her precious little one <3  She was such a love and so full of funny and adorable expressions – I wish I could post them all here, but I chose a few of my favorites to share.  I miss little Kaitlin already!

Rock the Mic for BAAFF (Boston Asian American Film Festival)

A bunch of us gathered at Limelight tonight to get our inner rockstar on while helping raise funds for the Boston Asian American Film Festival, a production of the Asian American Resource Workshop, sponsored by Tufts Medical Center.  In addition to a screening of the Independent Canadian short, “I’m in the Mood for Love.” we were also treated to a special appearance by rising star, Sophia Moon, who performed several songs for the crowd.  Here are a few pics from the evening 🙂

Tu & Lucky (Vlad) Tie the Knot <3

Tu & Lucky’s wedding was such a blast from start to finish!  We started at the Radisson, where the girls were getting ready while the groom and his groomsmen,  performed numerous challenges to win access to the bride – a very fun Chinese wedding custom 🙂 Tu looked absolutely stunning!  (Her beautiful makeup was courtesy of Makeovers by Ligia).

Then it was time to board the trolley and head over to Beacon Hill and the Esplanade for some not-so-formal formals!  Tu & Lucky’s friends hobbled over cobblestones in dress shoes and high heels and jumped like the best of them on a floating dock on the Charles River (now that’s devotion!)  Afterwards, we set out for the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in the South End, where they had their ceremony.  It was hard not to be moved hearing the emotion in Tu’s voice as she said her vows.  After the ceremony and a few more formals, we headed over to Hei La Moon in Chinatown where the tea ceremony and reception were held.  The food was delicious and there was plenty of it!  There were many toasts, and even more dancing.  All in all, a wonderful day to celebrate a wonderful couple 🙂  Special thanks to Sarah LeBlanc for assisting!

Here are some of my favorite photos from the day…
