Former Wedding Clients become a Dynamic Dance Duo :) | Boston Performer Headshots

Bride and Groom, Cynthia & Benito were wedding clients of mine back in 2012.  Some of you might recall seeing a few of their killer dance moves in their wedding highlights.  (If not, you can check out highlights from their wedding here.)

As new partners in life, they proved they were already amazing partners on the dancefloor.  Now the two lovebirds have turned their love of dance and each other into a new business, performing at various events and gigs (they could even be dancing at the next wedding you attend…)

They’re currently putting together a performer website for their dancing and reached out to me for some head shots which I happily did for them 🙂 I will post an update once their website has gone live with all their contact details, for anyone who might be interested in hiring performers at their event.

In the meantime, here’s a little visual intro to this dynamic duo <3

Alina Turns One! | Cambridge Children’s Photographer

I can’t believe it’s been nearly a year since I saw this little peanut for her newborn session…now she’s turning one!  Alina decided to help Mom and Dad hang some of her birthday decorations and had no problem testing out the frosting on her birthday cupcakes – YUM 🙂

Check out pics of this adorable little 1 year-old and her proud parents:

Visual Poetry by Artist Leslie Goldman | Fine Art Photographer

I had the pleasure of photographing more of Leslie’s work this week and I have to say, I’m in love with her most recent pieces.  Her cut-out paper sculptures are beautifully, delicate, shadowy and full of poetry. Part of Goldman’s process includes drawing, to both highlight and omit text from book pages, and cutting around the text and drawings to create an intricately patterned sculpture.  The result is something akin to magnetic poetry crossed with paper snowflakes, but these insightful and impactful pieces are about 100 times cooler 🙂  I’ve included a few samples of Leslie’s work below and will update this blog when I have information on where you can see and/or purchase more.  Happy weekend!
