Promo Photos for Allysen Callery’s Upcoming Album “The Song The Songbird Sings”

I first discovered Allysen Callery’s music by chance one evening in a little coffeehouse in Norwood.  Her music, which she describes as Ghost Folk, transports you to another hauntingly beautiful world, possibly in another time…I was fortunate enough to have had my camera with me that night and captured these photos of Allysen playing at Perks Coffeehouse:

The following year she was named “Winner Best Acoustic/Singer-Songwriter Act” in the Providence Phoenix Best Music Poll Awards 2012.  She toured locally as well as throughout Switzerland & Germany, home of vinyl-only record label JellyFant who pressed Allysen’s EP Winter Island & The Summer Place into one beautiful limited edition record.

Fast-forward a few years and Allysen reached out to me to do some promo photos for her upcoming album “The Song the Songbird Sings.”  She showed me the beautiful CD Cover Art by Daria Hlazatova as inspiration (included below).  Here are a few of the photos from our shoot:
