Last week I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing Cathy Hughes, Massage & Reiki practitioner and Owner of “Intersect Body & Energy” in Arlington.
While I am already well acquainted with massage 🙂 – something I see less as a luxury and more as a necessary ingredient for health maintenance (along with yoga, regular exercise and eating well), reiki is something I’ve heard about but have never experienced firsthand. It was fascinating to hear Cathy talk about how transformative reiki had been in her own life. The idea of energy work is still very mysterious to me, but I’m intrigued. I think a Reiki session is definitely in the cards for me very soon!

Is it just me or is the Winona Ryder resemblance uncanny?? She says she’s more often told she resembles Drew Barrymore. I’d be happy with either 🙂
